Fish in a Tree

December15

Q) What do you think about Ally?

A) Well I think she is a great person who just needs someone to guide her through the pain of being bulled. And she mite not be able to read but she is very smart. And I think when she gets older she will be a great artist. She is very talented and that makes her who she is and she is not proud of who she is and that makes me a little up set. I wish she could see how great she is.

Q) What do you think about her classmates? Who do you find likable-why or why not?

A) Well I like Albert he seems like a man of science and he uses that science to show Shay up for Ally and that is what a true friend is.  Keisha is very nice to I like how when someone is bothering Ally she wants to go and strangle that person

Q) What do you think about Mr. Daniels? Explain

A) Well he knows that Ally is a good student and doesn’t let her not do work. He seems like a nice guy I think he can really understand Ally and where shes at right now. Because maybe he was in her shoes at her age and so he became a teacher to help kids like her and he just is doing what his teacher did when he had that problem. He mite be picking Ally as his favorite because he knows what she is going through.

Q) Do you find the story authentic and real-to-life> Explain why or why not.

A) Well I think the story is real to life. Because these main characters in the book people could act like that in real life. And some people Ally’s age can’t read and are in Ally’s shoes so that is why Fish in a Tree to me is real to life.

An Open Letter to Shoes

December10

Dear shoes,

I love you and as all my friends have pointed out I have a lot of you. When I was a little girl my favorite pair of shoes were white and shiny they were wedges. Now my favorite pair of shoes are boot wedges and they are brown the texture is velvet I got them from Forever 21. I love the way you feel and the way you smell. I love the way you sound the flats the silent, the boots clunk clunk, and my favorite the heels click click when I walk. I just can’t stand it. I love you!

As my Aunt Donna has taught me you never have too many shoes. She has a lot of shoes it’s crazy. The last time I saw her she gave me 2 pairs of heels. So what I’m trying to say is that you’ll always be apart of my life and I love that.
